Suicidal Thoughts

Our World of the 21st century can be a truly scary place in which to live. Everyday life is filled with increasingly stressful events and situations. These ‘stressors’ are almost always out of our control to resolve or even influence. It is not surprising then that we (as a species) are prone to emotional breakdowns etc. Couple to this, the soulless nature of our society actively discourages us from revealing any emotional hurt with each other. Consequently (for unknown millions of us worldwide) the idea of sharing psychological difficulties with another person is completely unacceptable.

Given this it should come as no surprise when we hear that one-in-four of us will experience some form of mental ill health. The following sites are being fitted with 'tools' hopefully to enable us to overcome Trauma. Stress. Depression. Anxiety. Loneliness. Panic attacks... However, these are not a substitute for a professional diagnosis

Stress is a normal part of our lives, and our stress response helps us in many positive ways.

When the effects of stress threaten to overwhelm our ability to remember, think and function we are in danger. This can happen when our stress response is poorly or ineffectively managed. When our stress response remains too high for too long can contribute to physical illnesses.

HOW DOES STRESS OCCUR?

Stress is produced by both normal and unusual events as well as by both positive and negative occurrences.

As stress can be cumulative, you need to monitor and regulate the number of threats (real or perceived), changes, and transitions that you encounter in the same period of time.
